We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fund Accountant with an interest in tax to join a major financial services organisation which is well established in both Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
Reporting into the Fund Accounts Team Leader, and working within a lively and stable team of 7, you will be responsible for ensuring that clients are provided with informative, accurate, and timely information. The responsibilities vary from running reports, to reconciliations, to responding to clients queries both written and orally. This role will have a definite tax focus, as you will assist in the further development of tax knowledge within the Wellington office. For the right candidate, rapid career progression is available.
Qualified or part-qualified CA would be ideal, although a passion for tax and an enthusiastic attitude could see you shine in this role. You will ideally have some knowledge of PIE (Performance Investment Entity) tax and ToII (Tax on Investment Income) tax, as well as a broad understanding of the financial services sector.
