This organisation is a leading manufacturer and supplier of calcium carbonate products and sells into a wide range of industries such as Polymers, Building Materials and other industrial sectors. A rare opportunity has arisen to join their Australian based team as the Queensland Sales Manager - a critical role in the business - to support their continuous growth.



Reporting into the Australian Sales directly and working closely with the others in the ANZ sales team, this role will look after all functions of business development and account management within Queensland. With a focus on developing, maintaining and growing existing client accounts by delivering commercial and technical support, identifying new markets to enter, with both new and existing products and maximising profitability for all customers, this is a versatile and stimulating role that will provide you with the ability to work autonomously whilst also being part of a greater team environment.



To be successful in this role, you will ideally have extensive experience with the chemical/minerals environment, with a tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering being highly desirable. You will display excellent administrative and operational skills with a sales environment, alongside a high level of planning, development and implementations of sales and marketing plans. You will be highly motivated and results driven, with the ability to build a strong rapport with all internal and external stakeholders. You will have a strong technical aptitude within the chemical field or alternatively within the plastics, surface coatings or minerals industry, alongside strong relationship with clients within the sector. You will display the ability to work autonomously and be committed to providing customers with the best results. This role will also involve frequent travel around Queensland and occasional interstate travel.
