Due to business growth HP New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for a Curam developer to join our established team. This is a diverse role which will see you working through the development lifecycle on both application and enhancements and new development across the Curam application suite. Based on client site you will have the opportunity to work on some of the larger application projects in New Zealand government with the chance to broaden your skills and scope across other technologies and business groups within the wider HP Enterprise Services(ES) Business.

Day to day this will be a diverse role which will see you involved in and responsible for:

•The design and documentation of application solutions using both custom-developed frameworks and components, and packaged products to deliver the best possible solution to HP’s clients

•Providing support for proposals in the areas of high level system design and estimating

•Hands on involvement in design and coding of frameworks and architecturally critical components, as well as guiding and mentoring other designers and developers.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role it is expected that you will have:

•At least three years Java Development Experience

•A minimum of two years experience with Curam

•A IT degree or Java certification is preferred, but not essential

•Analysis and Design experience and the use of UML tools

•Sound understanding of and experience with the JEE architecture and related technologies

•Experience in working with formally defined development processes, and an ability to look for improvements to the processes

Your technical skills will be partnered with your excellent communication skills and strong business acumen.
