My client is a global supplier of IT systems to the financial services sector producing innovative, sophisticated solutions. As Group Financial Analyst, the key accountabilities include forecasting and budgeting, reporting and general ADHOC activities.

Forecasting and budgeting process will include providing detailed forecast change comparison analysis and commentary, compilation of monthly rolling profit and loss forecast preparation across 10 business units spread over 6 countries, supervise distribution and feedback of updated forecasts, supervise/complete annual budgets, supervise 3 way budget model for each business unit and the ability to interpret accounting results and implications for the business going forward.

Reporting processes include preparation of investor relations power point presentations, strategy documents, investor packs, population of related information to annual and half year financial report, continual maintenance and improvement of monthly reporting to board and internal stakeholders and preparation of periodic reports, charts and slides.



The successful candidate must be CA/CPA Qualified with proven experience in a similar role within a large corporation environment. Advanced excel skills including financial modelling is a key requirement along with an understanding of complexity and ramifications of forecasting issues. The candidate must also have lead and drive to complete tasks, negotiate and create buy-in from other areas of the business to successfully complete tasks, demonstrate experience in problem solving and willingness to challenge existing practices to achieve the best outcome.
