A well-known tertiary organisation is currently looking to recruit an Advisor - Ethics on a 12 month fixed-term contract. A key focus of this role will be to review, design and implement a strategy for managing the organisation's ethical conduct.



As a natural leader promoting a culture of ethical conduct in a complex environment, you will prepare and present specialised reports, correspondence, recommendations and advice to senior management. You will take ownership and accountability for all documentation relating to positive workplace behaviour including discrimination, harassment and bullying. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, lateral thinking and innovation; a consultative attitude and exceptional communications skills.



The role will also manage cases arising from breaches of ethical conduct and use learnings from those cases to refine and review the organisation's ethical framework.



It is expected that you will have a thorough understanding of relevant workplace relations and equal opportunity legislation and an appreciation of concepts such as conflict of interest. As the successful incumbent you will have demonstrable experience in developing innovative strategies and the ability to maintain sensitivity when dealing with sensitive matters and investigations.
