My client is a public traded, global leader in industrial automation and power technologies. With a focus on environmental impact and power efficiency, they have created many of the world's standards for the industrial sector.
In order grow their business my client has created Country SCM Manager position to restructure this massive companies procurement and SCM division, processes, and performance.
As the Country SCM Manager you will lead in the standardization of procurement and SCM system by supporting local division managers in the development of SCM strategies, budget planning, and management procedures. As SCM is new to the Japan branch, you will take leadership of the budget, legal compliance, and adoption of new technologies. Your project management ability in cost saving measures on a country wide scale while establishing and enforcing clear Key Performance Indicators will be critical. A strong level of communication across regional and global peer groups to maintain strong partnerships is essential.
As a driven, people-oriented, and analytical individual you will also be a great communicator with excellent training ability. You are preferable someone with +15 years in SCM at an international or large multi-national company and a business level of English. Only with a Native level of Japanese and permission to work in Japan are you eligible for application.
