Hays Procurement has an urgent requirement for a Purchasing and Tenders Officer for an immediate start for this busy and friendly team. Based just outside Perth city centre we are looking for someone who can commit for at least the next 12 weeks.



Your main duties will be to provide advice and expertise on purchasing policies and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and best practice. You will develop period contracts for the supply of major capital projects and deal with contractual management including awarding, extension, contract variations and termination.



Ideally we are looking for someone who has previous experience in Western Australia as the client requires knowledge of Australian Standards Conditions. Ideally you should also possess a tertiary qualification in Business or associated field or experience in contracts and tenders management.

An understanding of contract administration and purchasing and tenders principles and procedures and its application is required.



An immediate start is preferable.
