In order to drive this continued success through our talented workforce, we have an exciting opportunity for a Presales Consultant, Networking to be part of the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) team, creating possibilities, solving problems and establishing working relationships with customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in-country Presales Consultant to architect appropriate technical solution, proposal and presentation to meet customer’s business requirements.
- Support the team by providing demo, network design, proof of concept, IT solution and administration.
- Partner effectively with team members to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and provide support to deals in the pipeline.
- Assist Account Managers or Partners to close Network opportunities.
- Provide both strategic and day to day technical expertise and support for targeted and assigned accounts.
- Manage, develop and maintain strong, successful relationships with sales teams and key end-user customers for continued business growth.
- Work with sales team to identify and develop opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Support the sales effort in answering RFPs.
- Demonstrate technical expertise to solidify Networking BU position by delivering leading edge technical presentations and training on all Network products.
- Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the solution design.
- Manage the timely, accurate and quality delivery of Networking products and technical support to strategic accounts, as required to meet sales goals.
- Provide timely feedback to Network teams to help drive customer-focused solutions.
- Act as the single face to the customer on all Network technical issues focusing on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
- Typically 2 to 5 years’ experience in Networking field and playing an active role in consultative selling, services support and/or delivery/implementation roles.
- Good understanding of sales cycle & trends in solving customer business problems.
- Hands-on expertise with Networking, firewall, wireless, LAN switches and TCIP/IP.
- Good business acumen, self-starter, solution oriented with a “can do” attitude and solid problem solving skills.
- Preferably with CCNA.
- Comfortable with technical and business English usage (document reading, emails, conference calls) and local language.
- Highly preferred with local experience and working with SI, Vendor and/or MNC in Network Administrator role
