iAd Communications Manager, Global

Apple is looking for a dynamic and passionate person to join iAd’s growing Marketing department – a
strategic, cross-functional team that directly supports the iAd business and impacts revenue.
We are looking for a confident individual with a strong B2B marketing background who will lead
marketing positioning, strategy and communications for iAd.
Key Qualifications:
•Passion for Apple’s opportunity in advertising and the grit to convert non-believers

•Demonstrated strategic positioning and effective communication skills
•Creativity in marketing communications and problem solving
•Strong leadership presence and proven record of influence and results cross-functionally
•Experience with global markets and international knowledge highly valued
•A minimum of 5-7 years experience working in a classic strategic marketing communications
•role required; An additional 2-3 years experience relative to a specific communication or
•marketing discipline preferred (examples: CRM, PR, experiential)
•Experience in the media industry, and specific to marketing, valued
•Deep understanding of both the traditional and digital advertising space as well as the nuances
•specific to their region/market is beneficial
•Solid project management skills
•Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment
•Exceptional communication and leadership skills
•Track record of over-achievement
Description:
Plan and execute central marketing communications for the various external and internal
channels that contribute to iAd’s business
Author a global roadmap with regional considerations based on product roadmap and channel
feedback
Provide guidance on positioning, messaging and tonality for all all channel communications to
regional leads
Consult with Apple counterparts on best practices in channel activation
Develop and distribute collateral, messaging, and other related communications to both
external and internal stakeholders
Originate marketing materials and communications that can be deployed across regions,
customer groups and products in a scalable, efficient manner
Partner with regional business leads to plan, prioritize and develop marketing programs to foster
business growth
Create content that drives revenue, perception and demand for the iAd including best practices,
positioning of iAd products and services, and vertical/category-specific solutions
Uphold the standards of the Apple brand in all communications, behavior and materials
Use customer insights to inform positioning and inspire communications that create impact
Capture market feedback for iAd product development teams to ensure that iAd products are
the best in the market
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field
