This world-class operation plays a significant role in the North Queensland mining market and it is part of a top tier global brand.



We a seeking a temporary site-based Financial Analyst to work as a business partner with the site leadership team, providing financial expertise and supporting them with cost management strategies and management reports. Cost control and analysis will be a key focus, as will monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, investment proposal evaluations, budgeting and forecasting.



We are seeking a qualified CPA or CA Accountant with strong cost and management accounting experience in a large complex organisation, ideally within mining. You will have worked with large ERP systems and have Advanced Excel skills. Exposure to IFRS or similar will be highly regarded. As you will be a key link between site and corporate office, you will have excellent communication skills and a team focus.



This position is offered on a fly-in/ fly-out, 4 days on (Monday to Thursday)/ 3 days off roster from Townsville. The contract will be for a minimum of 12 weeks with the possibility for extension. If you are able to start at short notice, please apply now.
