Compliance Officer - FX & Rates Advisory - VP / Director Level

The Candidate:



Previous compliance experience is essential and you should have a strong understanding of foreign exchange and interest rates products. Exposure to these products in an emerging markets capacity would be advantageous as the firm continues to build its presence internationally.



The work is varied and time critical, requiring a good understanding of market structures, products, market abuse regulation, Chinese wall structures, FCA COB rules, and recent UK, EU and US regulatory developments.



You'll need to be confident dealing with Heads of Business, Senior Traders and Senior Management. You'll also be called upon to regularly mentoring junior members of the markets advisory team.



In addition, you will also be involved in liaising local Country Compliance Officers across the EMEA region and colleagues in the USA and Asia as well as Legal to identify and manage the regulatory risks associated with specific transactions and the businesses as a whole.
