Financial Accountant - Kingston

An exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant to join a global business based in Kingston. Ideally you will have experience from a mid tier firm, and are looking for your first step into a commercial business. Candidates who have strong Financial Accounting experience from the commercial sector will also be considered.



You will be responsible for preparing the statutory accounts for 3 trading companies, as well as some dormant companies. You will also be responsible for preparation of the year end tax, and for the monthly group reporting pack. You will ideally have up to date knowledge on IFRS and UK GAAP reporting and be a central point of technical resource in this.



You will also be involved with various ad hoc projects that will develop your experience within finance.

Skills & Experience required

Qualified Accountant ( ACA, or ACCA)

Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS

Statutory reporting and financial statements

Good Excel

Strong problem solving skills

SAP a bonus, but not required

Excellent communication skills
