This global leading software solution specialist is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive sales across their portfolio of digital products and cloud based CRM systems.
You will be making outbound calls as well as communicating via email to connect with small to medium sized businesses within various industries, handling qualified leads to ascertain their needs and to book appointments for an expert product specialist to deliver a presentation to them.
You will be targeted to book 2 to 3 meetings per day, which will require you to make approximately 50 calls a day, as well as performing research and putting in regular follow up with potential clients. You will be qualifying existing leads that have been distributed to you, as well as doing some element of cold business development as well. For the right person this role could shortly develop into a team leader role or could progress into a Business Development Manager role as well. This is a global company, so a career will likely mean trips and holidays to the US where their head quarters are based.
The hours of the role are from Monday to Friday during standard office hours paying $65K + super + commissions. They are based conveniently in the city so are near to public transport.
To be considered you will need at least 5 years of sales experience, ideally within a phone based role. A background in Accountancy or Software is also advantageous but no essential. You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for sales and strong tenure in your past roles.
