To continue to support their strong operations and big development teams in China for global projects, they are now seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to be based in Shanghai. In this challenging and exciting role, you will be reporting to the China GM, lead development teams and continue to build world class private cloud platform that powers thousands of application and billions of hits a day.
As the successful candidate, your extensive experience within the Internet or eCommerce industry will be highly regarded. You should be able to bring deep knowledge in Java Application Framework and Development, Cloud Computing, Continuous Integration and Distributed Systems which can handle billions of hits per day. Your people management skills will be tested with a team of 40+, and your English plus Chinese skills will be needed to communicate effectively with local and global teams.
