A Sourcing Manager is required on a fixed term contract for an established private sector organisation based in East Melbourne.



As the Sourcing Manager your role will be to oversee management and delivery of procurement, sourcing and contracting initiatives relating to services and supply contracts, contract extensions, variations and amendments. You will liaise with internal business and legal stakeholders to determine requirements, confirm preferred commercial and legal positions and obtain required executive endorsement as well as liaison with external vendors to finalise agreed positions and obtain executed documentation.



The ideal candidate will hold a degree within a legal or business discipline, be able to demonstrate an understanding of Australian contract law in relation to services and supply contracts, have a strong service focus, experience working with demanding stakeholders and be able to manage multiple initiatives. Candidates from a private sector experienced within a corporate procurement or legal team are preferred.



The role is for a 6 month period.
