This Local Government organisation based in Logan & Beenleigh is seeking an experienced Project Consultant to provide specialist advice managing an Alliance Transition Program.



This Alliance Transition Program will involve the winding up of current systems, processes and information and preparing for transition to the new capital works delivery model in 2015. You will be called on to determine, in collaboration with Managers and the Alliance Steering Committee, the objectives, scope and deliverables of the Alliance Transition Program and manage the process of implementing the new program of works.



You will manage the analysis of current staff resources, information regarding the organisations water and wastewater assets, IT systems and real estate leases; and determine resource requirements and logistics plans necessary for ongoing operations for the business unit and continued success delivering projects across SEQ.



Working alongside project managers in council and private sector consultants involved in the alliance, you will undertake appropriate change management action and risk management strategies to ensure that all stakeholders remain engaged and have clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.



With background and previous experience completing similar work in Water, Utilities or Local Government environment you will prepare draft reports and identify appropriate solutions and where necessary present to the Transition Program Steering Committee in relation to project progress and risk mitigation strategies.



Contract from 03/11/2014 until 30/06/2015.
