Hays Senior Finance are currently working with one of The UK's largest independent service sector businesses. The business is seeking to appoint a Gross Margin Accountant with experience in the production and development of management accounts, incorporating both statistical information and KPI monitoring. This is a growing business with huge ambition. Core duties will be to assist in the routine delivery and continuing development of gross margin reporting, working with the wider business to add depth of understanding to the results and the variances. Support the identification of risks to the gross margin and the incorporation of KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of related internal controls. Produce concise and relevant reports for management. There is a strong business partnering and analysis emphasis.
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant with Advanced Excel skills. You must have independent motivation with a drive for continuous improvement. An analytical and logical approach with an ability to derive clear conclusions from complex data sets and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be applied confidently at all levels throughout the business.
