FP&A Manager

This opportunity is for a leading supplier in the wholesale industry within the UK market who are seeking an FP&A Manager to join their establishment. This job opportunity requires a qualified accountant who has prior budgeting and forecasting experience with which the have supported the management team.



Part of the business Senior Management team, reporting to the Finance Director and managing a team in Operations, Stock Control, Financial Planning, Budgeting, Analysis and project support. Providing managerial and strategic input through working alongside Commercial (Sales, Marketing, Development) and Operational (Production, Logistics, Procurement). Being a catalyst for opportunities and change through timely and effective analysis, decision support and key financial modelling, evaluation and recommendation, becoming a "True Business Partner".



Key Responsibilities:



-Own and manage the Forecasting, Budget and Business Planning Process across the whole business

-Working alongside other functions for decision support

-Pro actively manage and get the best out of the I.C.T. Team and external contracts.

-Provide continual monitoring, investigation, challenging, querying and analysis of business operations

-Support all operational/Commercial initiatives and instrumental in identifying new opportunities

-Thirst to add value through margins, costs, customers, pricing, mix, promotions, operations

-Become the "Business Partner" to the key senior management team with close involvement with the "Front of House" teams and customer meetings.

-Make better use of IT and align to the changing business needs for business performance reporting, enabling other functions to analyse and understand key drivers

-Strategic business support for growth, business changes



It is recognised that this exciting and challenging role would require excellent rapport with managers, an inquisitive mind, attention to detail, strong business acumen and a significant investment would be made in this role for training and support.



Suitable candidates will have experience in a similar role and ideally worked in the FMCG industry. You will also be professionally qualified ACA/CIMA or ACCA.
