Director - Data Privacy & Information Governance

Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for leading the development, implementation and management of the firms Conduct, Information Governance & Functions Compliance Program.
* Development and implementation of key initiatives including privacy and data protection, information governance and conduct policies
* Conduct risk assessments, compliance monitoring reviews and engage with the business to raise awareness of regulatory horizon risks to the business.
* Provide regulatory input on all new business issues such as new product roll-outs to ensure that compliance is included.
* Liaise with the business compliance team to ensure a consistent compliance approach in relation to planning & execution, policy governance, training & communication; and with the Compliance Assurance team on testing, remediation & root cause analysis, monitoring, reporting, analytics and metrics.
* Provide vision, leadership and development to direct reports and the wider functional team.

Candidates must have proven experience leading Information Governance / Data Privacy programs at either EMEA or Global level and strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework in respect of Conduct Risk
