IT Infrastructure Project Manager required for my leading client, a well-established Public Sector organisation in the heart of Surrey.



My client is looking for an IT Project Manager to work within a PMO, specifically taking the lead on delivering strategic infrastructure projects across the business. Projects delivered will include small to medium-sized Infrastructure changes through to major implementations. Currently our client is about to embark upon a £2m project to deliver a set of data storage services and the successful person will take the lead on that piece of work.



As an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of IT Project Delivery, managing multiple projects related to infrastructure and ensuring that they are delivered on time and to cost and specification. You will also be involved with clarifying business requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.



To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:



* Strong and demonstrable experience of IT Infrastructure Project Management including the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

* A good understanding of business analysis.

* Excellent communication skills.

* The ability to manage stakeholders and influence effectively.

* Experience of Prince 2 (or other structure Project Management methodology) would be highly desirable as would ITIL certification.

* Experience of working within a Public Sector environment would be highly desirable.
