This leading multinational specialist company offers an array of services from facilities management, building and project management across the mining, oil and gas, and construction industries. Due to a new contract win, this established market leader has an immediate and exciting permanent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager based in Port Hedland.



You will organise and manage the contract in accordance with the high standards required by the company and the client. Responsible for providing great quality services to meet the client's expectations, you will manage, develop and train your team members. You will ensure that your contract is compliant and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets.



With strong commercial acumen and the ability to form productive relationships, you will work with internal and external clients, conduct negotiations and take responsibility for client issues. You will identify and create new business opportunities, embedding a culture of cross selling. Effectively managing the cost of goods within the workplace, you will establish and implement an order and supply process, as well as stock control systems. You will lead and manage an effective team, monitoring performance, providing feedback and modelling high standards of behaviour.



To be successful in this role you must have a trade background and a strong understanding of maintenance practices. Previous experience in scheduling and maintenance planning would be looked upon favourably. You will have previous single site operational experience, the ability to manage a budget, and, have a working knowledge of workplace relations. You must have previous experience managing large teams of trade staff. Degree qualifications and contract management experience are also highly desirable.
