My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Data Modeller to join their organisation and work alongside the Architecture and Engineering team based in High Wycombe.



I am looking for a Data Modeller to expand the company's use of data as a strategic asset to help fulfil corporate goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the conceptual. Logical and physical data models to meet the needs of the organisation's information systems.



The main aspects of this role will be to perform careful analysis of data requirements and data profiling. Develop source of target mapping to design and construct data warehouses and operational data stores. Develop data models for information systems ensuring a high level of data integrity. Translate business requirements into logical data models. Generate DDL scripts for implementation in a database. Perform data analysis to support mapping and transformation of data from legacy systems to physical data models. Coordinate data models and dictionaries across multiple systems. Develop data models for data warehouses and operational data stores. Profile data to understand inconsistencies and issues. Work with developers and database administrators to ensure model is effectively communicated. Interact with IT leads, Subject Matter experts, DBA's, ETL and BI resources.



Key Skills that we are looking for;

* Strong Data Modelling skills in a BI environment (Erwin preferred)

* Good SQL ability

* Understands Oracle (generate DDL scripts for database)

* Some experience of Data Profiling

* Understands how data will scale/perform on target architecture

* Effective communicator & works well with team
