Production Planner

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands, NL - Business Supplies and Equipment, Machinery, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing

Vacancy for a Production Planner with a perm contract at our client, an international leader within their segment. Active in the production of raw materials that are being used in everyday products. Currently we are recruiting a Production Planner for their office in the North Holland.



Job profile

Execute long term planning processes on a specific planning area, including the determination of planning strategies, capacity measurement and load levelling – Understand capacity and maintain production and planning parameters and agreements

Execute short term planning processes, including daily MRP management, constraint and exception management and coordination with local and global PROD, QC, OTC, DIS , QM&I, MDM teams and if necessary external companies

Execute inventory management process including SLOB based on our clients´ tools, procedures and targets on costs and service

Follow procedures, guidelines and best-practices and address/implement where missing

Create and maintain local procedures and job aids

Back-up on most planning activities

Support roll out on new initiatives in the planning area

Lead planning improvement projects, with clear follow-up, timings and results following their methods

Represent the planning team in area specific cross-functional projects and meetings, local and international

Execute analysis on local planning topics



Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor/Master degree in Supply Chain. Preferably combined with an APICS-module BSCM or Lean Yellow Belt certification. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the area of Supply Chain/Planning. Written and verbal command of English, good knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus. Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
