Hays are working with a leading manufacturing company based in Magherafelt to recruit a HR Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within a reputable and forward thinking company.
As HR Officer, you will work closely with the HR Business Partner to ensure the delivery of effective day-to-day HR Services and information management. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with generalist matters including reviewing and developing relevant policies and procedures, working with line managers to understand and implement policies appropriately and effectively, administration and co-ordination of recruitment, dealing with grievances and disciplinary procedures and manage and process the weekly payroll.
As HR Officer essentially, you will be CIPD qualified with 1 years experience in a generalist role at officer level OR 3 years' experience working in a generalist role at officer level. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding and practical knowledge of employment law in line with the requirements of the role. You will have experience of implementing an organised, efficient and methodical approach to administration, record keeping and reporting. In addition to this you have experience of the recruitment process and supporting entry-level recruitment & selection.
