WW Programs Manager – HP Big Data Alliance and Channels
- Team closely with the regional and WW Partner Programs organization and relevant regional leadership and sales teams to determine the most strategic partner initiatives or programs.
- Manage delivery of simultaneous programs: define scope and expected deliverables, organize and drive cross-functional teams, determine success metrics, and track against milestones.
- Manage risks, anticipate bottlenecks, drive program prioritization, make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus constraints.
- Track and report impact of programs to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Implement successful pilots across our partner ecosystem.
- Assisting in analyzing channel programs and making suggestions to increase effectiveness. Assisting with conducting market research to identify opportunities for increased channel partnerships and sales.
- Working with inside or outside agencies to develop channel programs and program materials to increase 'sell-through' and return on investment.
- Provides guidance and improvements on processes/programs of the highest level of complexity.
Should be able to simplify existing complexity in our programs to benefit partners and operational support.
- Identifies areas for program improvement and sets strategies; leads projects and corporate initiatives at the regional or global level.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with the most senior-level business partners and advises/influence regional management in the successful implementation of programs and process recommendations, while effectively overseeing the entire process.
- Represents HP to internal and external stakeholders, such as management and external partners, on all program related matters.
• May lead a global project or initiative of moderate complexity.
• Candidate should be able to work effectively as a team member and team leader.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- Typically 10+ years related experience.
- Experience in program management, product management, or customer service operations in the technology industry such as Software as a Service or hardware industry.
- Must be able to work in a matrix environment regionally and globally.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Content master in the field of process and capabilities management with a complete systematic knowledge of project management tools.
- Exceptional financial and business acumen; in-depth business and industry knowledge.
- Excellent project management and process development skills.
- Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills, including both written and verbal forms catered to a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to speak to both technical and business stakeholders and users and interact at all levels of an organization.
- Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including competency in financial analysis.
- Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs, and address needs with workable programs.
- Ability to manage or oversee others in managing multiple projects while staying within the scope of the overall strategy.
