The internal Alliance Business Manager in EMEA will manage the regional execution and delivery of revenue across HP Technology Services (TS) for the HP Software Big Data Group.



Responsibilities:



• Influences large account sales teams to partner for near-term revenue growth, while at the same time, develop joint relationships, initiatives and programs for long-term sustained account success.



• Creates, fills-in and manages Big Data Group’s funnel for deals with Technology Services (TS) in the region to transform potential leads into joint sales activities.



• Manages the virtual team comprised of HP Software Big Data representatives and Technology Services representatives to ensure the pursuit and closure of TS lead opportunities, and increase the funnel for HP.



• Develops long term and short term business with TS and using the Alliance Account Plan as a means to document and communicate the plan.

• Develops and nurtures a strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with Technology Services across the region.

• Actively engages senior HP executives and other resources to build strategic relationships to insure long-term business opportunities for HP.

• Coordinates all Big Data Group activities with the TS in the region, e.g. enablement/education, marketing, executive briefings, client engagements, etc., with primary focus on sell with/through, Flexible Capacity Services and outsourcing business (where applicable).

• Provides the business rationale, risk assessment, and expected ROI for making HP investments in joint partner Go-to-Market initiatives, client engagements, and marketing activities.

• Oversee the schedule and coordination of quarterly business reviews between regional sales teams.

• Provide weekly/monthly business metrics to executive teams.

• Ensure businesses work well together to deliver strong customer solutions.

• Manage escalation path for customer and field issues to ensure timely response.

• Provide feedback into and influence product engineering to ensure we meet the needs of targeted customer base between both business groups.





Qualifications
Qualifications:



• 5-7 years managing programs and sales initiatives in the high technology field in at least two functional areas: (1) alliance/partner management and (2) business development.

• Success in managing cross-functional teams, strong work ethic, initiative and drive to excel.

• Must be able to demonstrate direct measurable results from their influence in the program.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or closely related field/ MBA a plus

• Strong knowledge of HP Technology Services (TS) global and EMEA account/sales organizations.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
