Application Support Analyst, Sydney



We're looking for an application support analyst experienced in supporting software applications ideally within financial services. This Global leader in front and middle office fund management have a unique technology offering to their clients, and have a globally dispersed team of support and software engineers (US, UK, Europe and AUS) who are responsible for the maintenance and development this core product used for investment banking.



We're looking above all else for strong communication skills, as at present the team in Sydney is small but will be growing rapidly over the next 12/24 months, and as this is the first position in the Sydney IT team, the post holder will be responsible for creating the right culture in the IT office.



Technically we need in experience in Microsoft products and the ability to maintain and troubleshoot a primarily Windows-based operational environment. So we do need knowledge of MS SQL and ideally some form of Scripting language.



There is a casual working environment, normal hours (no shiftwork) and product training / career development provided.
