One of Queensland's major coal operators is now offering a Brisbane based 4 week contract opportunity for a Mining Engineer to focus on design and scheduling across operations. The role is only suited to a current resident of Brisbane as it requires an immediate start on a Monday to Friday roster. FIFO and relocation is not an option.



With relevant experience in a Mining Engineer role in an open cut coal mining environment, your key responsibility within this technical role will be to achieve design and scheduling improvements using Vulcan, Talpac and 3D Dig. You will be expected to use your judgement and expertise to prepare design presentations and communicate these to site operations.



Relevant Qualifications in Mining Engineering are required, as well as Vulcan, Talpac, 3D Dig are essential to be considered for this role. T& S and DRE design experience is advantageous, as well as pit sequencing experience. This role requires an immediate start, so all applications will be processed in a matter of urgency.
