My client is a prestigious and highly profitable Banking firm based in the heart of London's thriving West End, who urgently require a Service Desk Analyst to provide 1st and 2nd Line Support for its London users.

As Service Desk Analyst, the successful candidate will help manage Service Desk incidents to satisfactory conclusion, whilst liaising with vendors, multiple Business areas in London and also maintain excellent communication with colleagues and customers. You will be expected to maintain a professional approach at all times, plus ultimately provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for desktops, servers, printers and applications. The role will see you identify and report perceived risks and escalate accordingly, providing support for a technical operation covering the hours of 09:30am to 18:00pm.

To be considered you must have worked in a busy Service Desk environment within a Financial Services / Insurance environment, having provided 1st and 2nd Line support. Your technical skills must include the following:

Microsoft Office products
Microsoft Windows
Networking concepts
Microsoft Windows server products
Microsoft Exchange administration
VMware
Active Directory
Oracle Database administration
SAN Storage
Packaging
Scheduling and system monitoring

You will be educated to Degree level (minimum 2:1), have an ITIL Foundation and ideally MCP Certification, with preferably a CCNA qualification.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

Due to the urgency of this role, you must be IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE.
