Outsourcing professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. The Contract Manager provides on-site advice to Accenture's business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Initiate, track and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintain associated documentation.



Job Description



The Contract Manager provides on-site advice to Accenture’s business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. They are responsible for initiating, drafting, neogtiating, tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, communications and risks, and maintaining associated documentation.



Contract Manager uses standardized processes and tools to blend contract compliance with commercial know-how and practicality and focus on contract compliance and risk mitigation, protecting and enhancing margins.



They enable the management of government model, international and commercial contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements



Key Responsibilities:



• Participates in Contract Management and Project Management teams to support contract and subcontract compliance

• Draft, negotiate change requests, statement of work or any other engagement documents.

• Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions

• Generates reports required to monitor contract compliance, escalate non compliance where needed

• Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met

• Identifies contract management risk and issues and proposes solutions for approval

• Independently works at smaller engagements or works within team at a large, complex engagement. May have sole contract management oversight of a small to mid-size client

• Manages daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function

• Supports training activities for Contract Management personnel

• Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement

• Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly

• Acts as liaison between Accenture and clients/vendors



Education:

College degree required; advanced degree in business, contract management, law or engineering preferred.

Membership in the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and professional certification are a plus

Professional Skill Requirements



Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:

1. Minimum of 6 years in contract management/procurement/legal/finance field and applicable industry experience

2. Reasonable level of understanding of Accenture’s major business areas
