A local manufacturing company that competes in both the New Zealand and Australianmarket. This company is located within the South Waikato area and is accessible to Cambridge, Tauranga and Rotorua.



An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join this high performing team. This role will be reporting into the Financial Controller. My client is looking for anexperiencedAccountant who thrives on systemimplementationand improvement. This role is responsible for the overall company accounts with key tasks being:preparationof monthly and annualaccountsfor company Directors, responsibility of managing one staff member, system and process implementation and improvements as well as oversight of the company payroll process.



Key in this role is being technically able to maintain all financial information, however also being able to use that information to translate to company Directors and assist them with using it to drive their business is also key.



You will be a CA qualified accountant who has had a background in manufacturing and understands how businesses operating within this industry run. Proven systems implementation and improvement experience is also key. Thesuccessfulcandidate will be flexible in their approach with a sound work ethic that will ensure team fit.First class communication skills are necessary to be the anchor between finance and the rest of the business.
