NEW SCHEDULING CO-ORDINATOR JOB IN WORKSOP (Full Time or Part Time)
Due to continued growth, a major food manufacturer in Worksop is now looking to recruit 2 new roles in to the business on a permanent basis. Working as part of the materials management and scheduling team, the shift available are Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm) and Saturday - Sunday (8.30am -5.30pm)
The main responsibilities of the role will include:-
· Manage all products set to delist to ensure Commercial/Finance are fully aware of all internal stocks, supplier stocks and existing orders to ensure all stocks are used up and any write off costs can be passed on/shared with customers where possible
· Manage material orders to meet planning schedule, including pushing back/pulling forward orders to meet amendments to plan
· Maintain minimum stock holding plans inline with site Working Capital targets
· Work with suppliers to resolve material supply issues
· Work with supply/operations to understand and adhere to space constraints· Escalate priority orders where necessary
· Manage short dated/obsolescent materials· Coordinates with planning team to provide forecasts for suppliers as and when required
· Manage the non quality non-conformances for the site (shortages/overs/delivery/supply issues etc), including raising, logging, chasing suppliers and reporting on resolution/corrective actions
· Liaise with Goods In, monitoring daily deliveries
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a materials management and scheduling role ideally gained within a chilled food manufacturing environment although applications from candidate from the wider FMCG manufacturing industry may also be considered. Previous experience of using SAP is preferred but is not essential as training will be provided
