Supply Demand Coordinator-Temporary

This is a position within the Supply Demand Execution (SDE) group based in Cork. This team is part of the SDM Department (Supply Demand Management).



The key objective is to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled from the relevant shipping point to meet our customer commitments.

This role requires an ambitious self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills and will involve significant interaction with several internal departments such as Supply Demand Management (Planning and Allocations teams), Logistics, Order Management, our SDE counterparts in the other regions (Asia and the US), as well as with our external manufacturing partners (OEMs).



Key Qualifications

• Own the Allocation Execution for your designated product line


• Ensure all customer orders are shipped on time, either from OEMs (Manufacturing Partners) or Distribution Centres, to meet customer commits


• Placement of Purchase Orders for the CTO processes


• Responsible for driving daily pack out activity for EMEIA at Apple manufacturing and OEM sites


• Monitor EDI transaction, and resolve error signals in a timely manner


• Maximize daily call-off, and ensure vendor executes handover to carrier in time for next day uplift


• Reporting requirements include product availability updates, and daily hub status updates


• Monitor vendor performance to agreed TDM (time dependency model) and Order cycle time goals


• Participating in Projects that enable progression of the role and customer satisfaction


• Key Relationships:


• Turnkey vendors and OEM suppliers


• The European Distribution Centers (DCs)


• Supply Demand Management (SDM) group


• Logistics


• New products (NPI) readiness team


• Order Management for all RTMs (Routes to Market) - Apple Online Store, Reseller Operations and Apple Retail Planning

Process and Systems oriented

3 to 5 years multi-national experience in a similar supply chain management role would be a distinct advantage



Education



Degree qualified (Business Information Systems or similar discipline) or 2-3 year's relevant experience
