Image Sensor Characterization Engineer

As a key member of the Sensor Core Technology team, you will be responsible for characterization of image sensors for evaluation of suppliers, development of new sensors, general problem solving, and implementation of new features. You will be expected to create the best possible characterization setup for chip level, packaged part and module level development, and you will work with cross functional teams in many aspects of your daily activities.
Key Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have 5 years of electro-optical image sensor characterization experience:
- •Experience in electro-optical characterization of high resolution imaging solutions.
- •Hands-on experience with characterization hardware and software. You need to be able to innovate and build new and unique solutions.
- Ability to use Matlab to analyze and present characterization data.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with others in a very cross functional team environment.
- Background in solid-state electronic devices.
- Experience developing sensor specifications and working with new sensor development
- Knowledge of industry standards
Description
Core Responsibilities:
As a Sensor Characterization Engineer owning the complete specification and characterization of sensor performance, you will be:
•Collaborating with global image sensor suppliers to evaluate and develop new image sensors
•Developing and implementing new characterization methods and equipment
•Documenting and presenting your results to both internal and external engineering teams
•Working with the Camera Technology teams to evaluate the contribution of the sensor to camera performance
•Working with internal and external teams to assure that sufficient and correct testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance
Education
MSc/PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or a similar disciplin
