VP/SVP Ops Risk - Corporate Banking

A leading bank with a footprint across international markets seeks to attract a well-rounded Operational Risk senior from a corporate banking background who is eager to add immediate value to the bank's fast-growing Asian businesses. The role has a key focus on process streamlining and implementation therefore a candidate with solid exposure to op risk management in a senior leadership capacity, as well as exposure to the business side would certainly appeal.
Reporting to the Asia Head of Risk, you will be responsible for providing recommendations across a range of incidents to a multi-faceted stakeholder group, mainly across the bank's corporate banking lines of business. You will provide regulatory oversight and advise the corporate banking business on all op risk issues whilst coaching an internal customer group on methods of best practice to mitigate against risk upfront. Further, you will support a range of projects which drive continuous enhancement of frameworks and present to a range of senior stakeholders across a variety of topics.
You will be an experienced op risk connoisseur (minimum 10 years) at senior management level with strong wholesale banking knowledge. Furthermore you will demonstrate a pro-active approach to run with things whilst using your initiative to take ownership of issues. English and Chinese fluency is required.
