Learning and Development Advisor

Within a Wellington based organisation that works broadly across communities and business, as well as central and local government, a twelve month vacancy has become available for a proactive Learning and Development Advisor.


As part of the busy Learning and Development Team and alongside the Organisational Development team, you will assist Senior Learning and Development Advisors to build a program of continuous professional development with a focus on technical capability.



This job will provide broad project management opportunities as needs are analysed and solutions are designed and implemented to lift departmental financial capability. Working with the HRIS and systems team and internal and external providers to maintain and improve the functionality of the learning management system, you will also work with employees, managers and the HR service delivery team to ensure processes are embedded and work appropriately to achieve tangible results.



A keen eye for detail will ensure the effective delivery of training and other resources. Naturally, your ability to quickly build strong relationships will allow you to collaborate, inform and deliver optional outcomes. Exceptional communication skills are expected and experience within Human Resources or Learning and Development working within the financial sector or with financially driven client groups will be highly regarded.
