Health, Safety and Environment professional required for a contract role with an electrical utilities company in Perth.



Based in attractive and easily accessible offices in Perth's CBD you will join a team dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of Safety, Health and Environmental performance within their workforce.



You will provide subject matter expertise to team members and internal business partners to ensure the quality of investigations, reports and recommendations are consistent with customer expectations.



The role will involve influencing improvements to standard designs, work practices, data quality and asset information. You will also be required to manage or facilitate workforce incident investigations, develop and support the implementation of best practice investigation and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. All with the purpose of minimising Health, Safety and Environment risk and loss.



To qualify for this role you should have a relevant engineering or trade background. Applications are most welcome from candidates who have a sound knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution within the energy sector. You will be a great communicator as part of the role involves conveying technical information in a sometimes non technical manner. A knowledge of safety, health and environment regulatory requirements within electrical transmission and distribution networks will provide you with extra credibility.



This role is expected to last 6 months+ and offers a pay rate around $55 - $60ph as well and a great team environment and a flexible and accommodating working week.
