This International Mining Company are currently going through a significant growth phase.



Due to an increase in demand they are looking to employ a Purchasing Officer on a 3-6 month contract with the possibility of permanency.



You will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services through SAP so that they comply with cost and quality and schedules. You will also be responsible for preparing the "Requests for Quotations" for the acquisition of goods and/ or service, in accordance with project procurement procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building a good rapport with vendors, negotiating on pricing and keeping track on the delivery time and quality of products and service.



The successful candidate will need to have 5+ years experience in purchasing and be highly skilled in SAP. You will also need to have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.



You will be rewarded with an hourly rate of $45/hour + super, flexible working hours and a friendly working environment in Perth.
