Accounting Controls Manager

Glasgow, United Kingdom, GB - Accounting

A market leading Global organisation, with a UK head office in Glasgow are seeking an ambitious and motivated Qualified Accountant to join their team. Working as part of a dynamic business facing controls function, the successful candidate will face-off to Senior stakeholders across the Global business, embedding and maintaining an effective controls framework around accounting functions, including; payments, charges and reconciliations.



This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful organisation. The role will offer exposure to a wide range of business areas, and the opportunity to engage with business leaders. Excellent internal progression opportunities are on offer for successful candidates.



Key duties:



- Reviewing existing controls and procedures

- Liaising with key stakeholders to review processes and controls and identify risk areas

- Implement key changes in line with audit requirements

- Work closely with Internal Audit

- Report to line management on exiting controls and risk. Review with key stakeholders to monitor progress



Requirements:



-Qualified Accountant

- Experience of either Internal or External audit

- Experience of implementing controls

- Ability to liaise with Stakeholders at all levels

- Strong reporting and communication skills
