Visionary Supply Chain Assistant Manager

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Supply Chain manager to join a global manufacturing company located in the heart of Singapore. As a global market leader, you will be working for a European company. The purpose of this position is to set up their new Supply chain and set goals for the divisions and ensure that the SC organization is aligned with the execution of SC strategies for the South East Asian region.
You will reporting into the SC Manager, and be responsible for driving process changes and their implementations. You will ensure SC processes and optimise their activities, which includes reviewing and analyzing the forecast and material planning.
You will ensure that the incoming and outgoing Supply chain will be improved and integrated. Beside driving optimization of SC related targets, you will also do cost/budget control regarding all SC related expenses.
We are looking for an individual, who as got at least 3-5 years of hands on end to end SC experience, which includes but not limited to Purchasing, demand/supply Planning, Forecasting, Inventory and material management. Ideally, you have been involved in setting up SC processes in a MNC. Having a bachelor degree in SC related field and strong communication skills are required. Previous people management experience is an advantage. Strong skills in SAP/ERP and MS office are prerequisite.
