As a Senior C++ Software Engineer (Exchange Connectivity, TCP/IP, Low Latency, Linux) you will be developing on Low Latency Proprietary Trading Systems as well as developing on the exchange connectivity. This team operate within a bubble and so are really able to push the boat out with the development that they are doing. They use C++11 and need someone who will be able to work at the lowest level of the system, particularly using TCP/IP and optimisation of low latency systems.



You will need to be someone who consistently keeps up-to-date with the latest C++ techniques and who is passionate about the technology that they use. You will have the opportunity to run a complete Linux/UNIX desktop and to regularly experiment with new development techniques in order to create systems that allow the fastest route to market.



This is a rare opportunity for a Senior C++ Software Engineer (Exchange Connectivity, TCP/IP, Low Latency, Linux) to join a Proprietary Trading Team who are free to develop new systems and improve the ones that are currently trading. You will be able to see the impact of your development directly in the market and will be given the chance to use the latest C++11 techniques.
