- Manages and leads key cross-business programs to drive the quality improvement process and quality culture for organization-wide initiatives, transformations, and critical products and services.
- Develops strategy and business roadmaps for business processes and key programs across the multiple Business Units and the company at large.
- Communicates strategy and business roadmaps to the executive levels of staff, industry partners and customers; leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision-making at the highest organizational levels.
- Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for program management across multiple platforms, organizations, and Business Units.
- Provides consultation, review, and feedback for program management across multiple organizations and architectures.
- Guides and mentors less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management
- Leads programs and projects regarding implementation of Quality improvement strategies, measurement, and training.
- Supports leadership in driving quality culture and quality improvements within the organization.
- Responsible for identifying and improving process and program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that projects and programs align with the quality strategy and vision.
- Coaches and provides direction to the business or functional area on quality improvement projects in order to achieve desired business results.
- Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame.
- Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort.
Strategist: Recognized authority internally and externally on leading-edge technologies, theories, techniques. Provides innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups. Determines and pursues courses of action essential in accomplishing objectives. Integrates advanced technology, theories or techniques that have a significant continued impact across disciplines and business units. Serves as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs. Champions large projects that effect the company's long-range goals and objectives. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Appropriate Review Board approval is required .
- Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for program management across multiple platforms, organizations, and Business Units.
- Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into program management architecture.
- Provides consultation, review, and feedback for program management across multiple organizations and architectures.
- Guides and mentors less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.
- Participates in and provides input on process for selection of future technical leaders.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- 5-8years experience at a top 10 consulting firm
- Ideally pre-MBA experience in Quality Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- Projectmanagement certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma or other Quality certification preferred
Scope/Impact:
Recognized industry and company expert regarding development of project and program management standards, equipment, and methodologies.
Integrating program management. Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, VP's, SVP’s.
Drives future roadmap and influences company direction across multiple business units.
