A diverse, multi-faceted organisation has increased their building and facilities capital works program for 2014-2015 and therefore require an experienced Senior Project Officer to oversee multiple refurbishment and upgrade projects.



Reporting across the organisation you will be directly responsible for providing technical expertise whilst co-ordinating multiple capital works projects. Day to day this will involve reviewing technical specifications, tendering, procuring plant and equipment as well as contractors and co-ordinating consultants to ensure project briefs are effectively managed. You will oversee the organisations diverse accommodation, refurbishment and upgrade projects.



To be successful, you will have a high attention to detail able to manage multiple concurrent projects from concept to completion. Ideally you will have exposure to building capital works and be comfortable providing technical advice and direction to consultants. As a roving role, you will be comfortable working across Victoria when required. A tertiary or trade qualification in Project Management, Construction or similar is required.
