FX Dealing team manager

Hong Kong, HK - Banking, Financial Services

Responsibilities:



* Lead and manage the FX dealing team with a view to meeting, or exceeding profitability targets and execution quality.

* Monitor the day-to-day operations of the dealing room.

* Take the lead in implementing strategic plans.

* Mentor the dealing team to comply with all relevant rules and regulations.

* Provide comprehensive professional and ethical training to all dealers.

* Manage FX risk to ensure compliance with company limits.

* Closely monitor all opening positions and report to management regularly.

* Review daily reconciliation of trading positions and investigate any discrepancies.

* Examine error execution and supervise trade amendment or cancellation.

* Provide market news and opinion to both traders and management.

* Ensure margin calls are carried out in a timely manner and margin status are recorded properly.

* Where appropriate take on management of client portfolios.



Requirements:



* Graduate in Finance or business related disciplines.

* At minimum of 8 years dealing room experience, of which at least 3 years must be in FX.

* Experience leading and managing an FX dealing / trading team.

* Strong IT skills and experience in online trading.

* Qualified to be a SFC LFX license holder;

* Familiar with SFC or HKMA rules and regulations in Forex trading.

* Good people management and leadership skill.

* Mature, analytical mind and able to work under pressure.

* Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Putonghua is a mandatory requirement for this role.
