Due to a recent restructure, this Geelong based manufacturing organisation is looking to bolster their finance team with a determined and experienced Assistant Accountant contracted until 31st October 2014 with a review at this date.



Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in preparation of Financial and Management reporting, taxation, supervision of the accounts receivable function and other industry-related ad-hoc tasks as directed by Management.



To excel in this role, you must have a proven background as a dedicated assistant accountant within an industry role or making a first move from Professional Practice. As such, you will have an in-depth knowledge of the month-end process, reconciliations, general ledger, profit and loss and cash flow analysis.



Due to the immediate nature of the assignment you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, be living in the greater Geelong area or immediately available to relocate to the area.
