An excellent opportunity has arisen within a retail bank for a motivated Branch Manager - Bank Manager to head up one of its key branches in Pakenham. This bank has a strong reputation for upholding excellent customer service, and delivering competitive sales results. It also prides itself on its ability to provide on-going support and development



As a Branch Manager located in Pakenham, your main responsibility is to manage the day-to-day operations of the branch and be the driving force for business development and growth in the region. Being the face of the Bank to its customers, you will be involved in the community whilst playing an integral role in ensuring customers are being serviced in the most professional and personal way. Working with internal and external stakeholders on a continual basis, you will also be responsible for the overall growth and profitability of your branch.



In order to be successful in this position, you will need to be a highly motivated individual who has previously managed sales and service staff and must hold strong lending, business and consumer banking experience. You will be a strong communicator in both public speaking and presentation and hold managerial experience preferably in a small to medium sized financial services environment. You will have a solid track record of sales leadership, implementing local business plans, achieving financial targets and accountability for profit/loss, along with strong people management skills.
