My client is an impressive firm who require a Grade A, High Calibre and Top 5% of the market candidate who has exceptional technical ability and experience using Java, J2EE, BDD, TDD, Spring MVC framework and ideally Cucumber within a very proactive Agile environment.



As a key Developer in the team, the successful candidate will develop and deliver updates to the digital platform following the Scrum framework plus enhance, maintain and share skills / knowledge within the Development team. You will share best practice advice and guidance whilst maintaining an understanding of industry trends in web development. You must have the ability to advise and guide stakeholders to ensure the proposed solution fits with the overall system design principles and is consistent with user requirements. You must ensure all deliverables are completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate level of quality, follow agreed quality assurance standards and operational principles, so that the delivered solutions are fit-for purpose and can be efficiently supported. You will actively participate in all ceremonies to help the Scrum approach within the team, facilitate technical decisions and incorporate feedback and emergent patterns from the team back in to the overall design.



To be considered you must be a very high calibre candidate with and outstanding academic profile (minimum 2:1 Degree in Computer Science or related field, from a Top University) plus have a demonstrable and impressive technical profile utilising Java (J2EE), BDD, TDD, Spring MVC framework and ideally Cucumber within a very Agile environment.

You must stand out from the field. If you doubt your technical ability at all, and do not meet the academic requirements of the role then this really isn't the right role for you.
