Our Client is a supply chain indirect materials integrated supplier which serves MNC & domestic Clients across 5 continents globally.



In Singapore they are urgently seeking Application Engineers with technical background who will act as a bridge to the customer base in the Oil & Gas and Aviation industry. Day-to-day you will serve as the Account Manager who dedicates time not only to recommend, advise of what suitable tools/ equipments to be used, but will also adeptly look after the margin given within every transaction. You will be at the Client site most of the time, helping them identify the needs for materials ranging from PPE, cutting tools, or abrasives.



A good match for this role would be a Mechanical Engineer with about 3 - 5 years experience who is very familiar with machining process. You will be a hands-on person who would frequent machine shops at the Client sites, someone who knows the difference between drying & polishing, knowing to whom to supply what, and knowing who to speak with for the decision-making.



You must also be reasonably good in report writing, influencing skills and be able to guide technicians at times.
