Are you seeking to join an innovative, global leading organisation? Seeking to make a long-term impact through the successful completion of a specific project? This job could be ideal!



We are partnering with a local business to recruit a Project Accountant for an initial period of 6 months, though there may be potential for further contract opportunities pending performance. My client is looking to pay in the region of £28,000 - £35,000 and suitable candidates should be able to begin work at reduced notice.



The primary focus of this job will be on the evaluation, analysis and improvement of the current stock management system and related financial records. To this end, the successful candidate will report into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the following duties:



· Extensively analyse and report upon the current stock management system

· Interpret and outline current transactional flow within current processes from initial order to final dispatch

· Design and implement improvements and efficiencies in the current processes; focusing on cost, profitability and speed of service

· Improve relationship and interaction between current operational reporting and financial reporting to provide key strategic information for management and Board.



Criteria:

· Qualified Accountant (Preferred) or qualified by significant relevant experience otherwise

· 1-2 years experience in similar roles involving a financial analysis and inventory analysis

· Knowledge of both financial and operational reporting





The role is due to begin in the coming weeks so a reduced notice is preferred, but not essential.
