Administration Support for EMEIA Environmental Team (Temporary maternity leave cover) - Environmental Affairs department



This position is offered in Apple's EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India, Africa) Environmental Affairs department. Our mission is to ensure that Apple's products and processes meet and surpass EU and national environmental regulatory requirements and continues to expand its leadership position on environmental programs. The European team supports Apple's corporate environmental groups to deliver programs on carbon footprinting, elimination of hazardous substances, improved energy efficiency, design for recycling and product recycling.



Key Qualifications:

•Intermediate/Advanced Excel essential

•SAP experience highly desirable

•Accounting/Finance background highly desirable

•Min 2-3 years admin experience essential

•Excellent attention to detail

•Excellent communication skills

•Ability to build and maintain relationships across functional and regional teams

•Experience in creating reports essential

•Proven organisational and administration skills

•Fluent in English, additional EU language is a plus


Description:

Compliance scheme management

In order to fulfill its recycling obligations in various European Countries, Apple is member of recycling schemes in all countries where it sells products. REA (Recycling Administration is a module of SAP used to create & send reports.

•Support implementation of SAP REA in some EU countries.

•Use REA to create and submit reports to recycling schemes in several EU countries.

•Ensure data readiness for reporting (both Apple & third party products)

•Submitting accurate reports to compliance schemes on time.



Environmental compliance audits

•Support the management of audits of compliance schemes (data preparation, interaction, documentation)

•To compile and make readily available sets of documents requested for audits.

•To prepare and maintain a compliance database



Financial analysis

•To control expenses related to product take back (mandatory and voluntary) and to all other projects of the team.

•To ensure that all payments are made on time and that costs are in line with forecast at all times.

•To conduct quarterly reviews and audits with Finance department.


Education:

Third level qualification essential

Accounting qualification highly desirable
